What at day...

I am now finally settlling down from my morning and early afternoon running around.
I really dont thing its too much to ask of a so called friend to do what they say they are going to do. My friend D said that she would pick me up at 9:15 to go get our kids from the ferry boat dock from Kelleys Island. They were there for the week at a 4-H camp. The 4-H group said to be there at 10:30 and the ferry boat would be in by 11am, same as every other year in the past. Well, of course, D was not on time ( a thing that I am totally aware of and dispise). I took it upon myself to decide to ride with D for the hour and 20 minute trip, fully knowing that she is always late.
Little did I know that she needed to go get gas this morning, make a phone call that had her on hold for over 15 minutes, then go home and wake up her son and get him ready to leave. When I saw her driving by my street at 9:20, that was my first warning that I had made a mistake and should have driven myself. I phoned her to ask if she forgot to pick me up. Well, "oh, no, she was on her way to get gas then needed to swing by and get Jeremy (her son) and then she'd be over to get me shortly". Well at 9:25 i called again and asked where she was. She was just now in our neighborhood and had to go wake Jeremy. I was informed that that should take about 15 minutes. At that Point I was not impressed that she had left me hanging and waiting for her when she fully knew that she was running quite late. I wanted to be at the boat dock at 10;30 & be there when my son got off the boat. At this point, I would be late in getting there in time. I told D that I am driving myself and Id see her there.

Out of the blue, she asked, well, how do you get there? I told her to look at the map, and I had to go. Quite pissed off, I hung up. Was she out of her mind? I needed to go, and I drove very fast to get there. I knew I would be late but hopefully I would be there to video him getting off of the ferry boat. As I pulled up to the dock the ferry was almost there. I did get to video the ferry pulling into the dock and
