thoughts

There are so many thoughts running through my head these days- kind of like a to do list with just my daily deep thinking. My church, Christ Church is having small group classes and we are learning about the life of Jesus. The book we are reading and reviewing is called The Jesus I Never Knew by Phillip Yancy. Interesting since i have not ever really officially studied the bible or been in an organized book discussion. In the past I have read many passages of the Bible but never intensely studied religion or the life of Jesus. Dr. Dave Collings is the pastor and i like his teachings. They make me think (for long periods of time) about how we are to follow Jesus. We have always been religious as a family but have not belonged to a church since we left Delray Beach, Florida, over 11 years ago. Rev. Jim and our church family were one 0f a kind, & we have just not found that kind of church since moving back to Ohio.I am enjoying Christ Church for the diverse group of people. They are warm and caring. The reason i go there is because i feel that the lessons have influenced me to be a better person. I feel better about myself. Thank you Jesus!
