The Morning After

It's the morning after a hard days work. Yesterday morning I spend a good 5 hours in our garden weeding and caring for our vegetable plants. Next time I will not let the garden go so that there is such a brogbdingnagian (enormous) task to complete. I kept thinking of going out there to weed, and it was on my list of things to do but for weeks I have put it off. Just a bugagoo that I have I guess.

After several hours in the garden I washed rugs and bed sheets, vacumed, and then started another huge project, taking up the carpet in our bedroom.
It wouldn't be so hard but the carpet is old and the padding is sticking to the hardwood floor underneath. Therefore, much ado to get the friable padding to non-adhere to the wood floor. I looked up what to do and it said to use paint thinner to wet the padding and then use a wooden spatula to scrape it off. It works, but very slowly and with lots of elbow grease. It will be quite a frisson (emotional thrill) when the floor is completely done.

This morning I went on the net to surf "fun words" because I want to expand my vocabulary. So I'm incorporating them into my journal. Therefore the additional explanation of the words in parenthesis. Right now I am discalced (barefooted) and in my pj's drinking my coffee. I am getting esurient (hungry) so I'm going to eat my breakfast. Enough of this flummery (meaningless chatter).
